Computer repairs in New Farm

New Farm is one of the busiest suburbs we work in. It is a mix of older Queenslanders around the park and apartment buildings along Brunswick Street and Merthyr Road, and the work reflects that: a lot of individual households rather than offices. The most common call here is accounts and email. People locked out of a Microsoft, Apple or BigPond account, Outlook that has stopped syncing, or a mailbox that will not load on the phone. Printers are next, then new computer setups with data brought across from an old machine. We see a good number of Macs in New Farm, and a fair amount of smart TV, iCloud and general household technology alongside the computer itself.

A recent job in New Farm

New Farm, February 2026. A customer had bought a new laptop and needed everything moved across. We set the machine up, fully updated it, transferred the data, signed the customer back in to all of their accounts and configured their email. Photos were the slow part and were left running to finish. We also installed iCloud and synced it, and spent time showing the customer how the new laptop worked.
